    • Build trust-based, long-term client relationships

    What you need to have:

    • 8 to 10 years’ experience in HR consulting across various domains such as Talent Management, Job Redesign, Workforce Transformation, HR Strategy & Operations
    • Deep expertise in content areas, good client engagement building upskilling plans and project management
    • Led sales and delivery across clients

    • Ensure prompt internal financial reporting and payment collection of insurance premium and / or fees from clients.
    • Update global benefits systems to provide accurate information for your global / regional clients in a timely manner.
    • Maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues from global, regional and local support teams working through tasks / requests / issues and ultimately providing value-add deliverables to clients.
    • Identify opportunity to up- and cross-sell inter-department services that fulfill and/or add value to clients.
    • Lead and mentor junior brokers within the team
    • Undertake any ad hoc duties / tasks that may be assigned.

     

    What you need to have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 4-6 years of working experience in Employee Benefits segment in Broking/Insurance industry.
    • Strong domain knowledge, and client management experience in health and benefits consulting.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
    • Analytical, critical thinking, good interpersonal and problem solving skills.
    • Global mindset with experience in working with a team environment across borders.

    Reports directly to the Consulting and Analytics Leader and is responsible for meeting the revenue targets and the delivery of the consulting projects to the client. Work with Sales team to meet the consulting sales targets and with the Broking and Analytics team on the activities that will be done to deliver the commitments of the consulting project, leveraging on the analytics report to develop programs leading to consulting.

    • Actively participate in marketing programs and social media initiatives that will drive sales for consulting.
    • Be the subject matter expert on regional & local health issues, benefit needs, opportunities, challenges, upcoming health care and legislative agenda,
    • Assist in building up a market presence/brand via speaking engagements, affiliated with local chamber of commerce and associations.
    • Manage the consulting financials, forecasting, planning and budgeting to drive strategy and vision over the short and long term
    • Accountable for revenue and profitability of consulting projects.
    • Initiate the yearly planning with the Sales and Broking teams to ensure understanding of the sales and revenue targets and the initiatives that will be decked to deliver the goals
    • Drive the strategic planning discussions with the Sales and Broking teams and put in place actions with accountabilities and monitor progress to the targets.
    • Understand the aspects of revenue recognition, forecast methodology, short and long term levers that impact revenue and expense, DRO management, Mercer’s revenue cycle and colleague responsibilities

     

    What you need to have:

    • Strong background in Consulting and Health Benefits
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel or similar programs.
    • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
